Waste of good storms

Two days in a row now there have been perfect thunderstorms and I've had to work. Perfect storms to sleep/doze through. Perfect quiet thunder to listen to and relax to. But, noooooo. I have to be at work in an office where I have to walk across the building to even get a glimpse. And forget hearing the rain! Unless it's a torrential downpour we can't hear a thing. I'm so bummed.
